Our Chief Executive Guy Stenson comments:
“At our Board and Executive Leadership Team meeting on Wednesday evening, we discussed some of the top line messages from the final report of the Grenfell Inquiry published earlier that day. We reflected on the 72 lives needlessly lost in the disaster, and our own proactive approach to prioritising the safety of customers in their homes.
“At GCH we are fully committed to the safety of our customers and the communities we serve. We have a long established relationship and work proactively with Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service, ensuring that our procedures and practices are robust and that we are always prepared to respond to any risks.
“One of the major failings identified in the Grenfell tragedy was the failure to listen to residents. At GCH, we have renewed our commitment to ensuring that every customer’s voice is heard and respected, so that we can continue to build a safer, stronger, and more inclusive future for all.”
