Our Neighbourhood Manager worked with Gloucester City Council to raise awareness about recycling among our new customers at Northgate.
They put up colourful posters in the bin storage area explaining what should go where and spent time chatting with customers and issuing each flat with leaflets, a recycling bag and a roll of food waste bags.
The Waste Wizard is the Gloucestershire Resources and Waste Partnership’s online tool. It allows anyone puzzled by recycling and waste to type in the name of any item along with their postcode to find out whether it can be reused, repaired, donated or recycled, or if it needs to go into a specific bin or collection.
