Changes to our Independent Living Service

We have made some changes to the way Independent Living Tenants can contact our Independent Living Service.

Moving away from our previous ­Independent Living Officer role and are introducing two new roles: Specialist Housing Managers & Independent Living Coaches.

Independent Living Coaches: will ensure that we have strong and effective relationships in place with support services and agencies such as Adult Social Care to support customers who need additional help to maintain their independence.

Specialist Housing Managers: will provide a housing management service tailored to each site whilst ensuring the health and safety of communal areas.

The teams’ focus will continue to be on maintaining independence at home wherever possible.

Health and safety will continue to be of paramount importance to us, and we will continue to have a dedicated resource in the Compliance Officer role.
