We would like to clarify that our Consultation events for Podsmead are cancelled and apologise for any confusion, with some residents receiving their cancellation notice before their original invite to the event this Saturday.

I wanted to write to you to apologise for the recent confusion regarding the invite to and cancellation of the Podsmead Regeneration consultation events.
For reasons beyond GCH’s control, some residents have received the notice cancelling the consultation event before they received their original invite. I appreciate this is really confusing and wanted to clarify that all three events are definitely cancelled and have been postponed to next year and a time when it is deemed safe to hold them. This is because of the Government’s recently announced ‘Rule of 6’ and concerns over the recent rise in Covid-19 cases across the UK.
In the interim we will shortly be sharing a video which shows the latest plans for Podsmead, updating the ‘Help shape the future’ website with the latest plans and providing opportunities for you to ask questions and share your feedback, online, over the phone and via a one to one appointment with a member of our GCH team where this is requested.
