23 Affordable Flats replace empty town centre pub
Gloucester City Homes (GCH) have launched 23 brand new flats in Park Road on the site of the former Brunswick Pub which had been empty since 2015.
The new flats, built by Cape Homes, offer 23 modern flats consisting of 6 two-bed and 17 one-bed flats and have been let to local people on the housing waiting list.
Robert Panou, Head of Development at GCH comments “With such high demand for social housing in Gloucester it is important that we regenerate disused buildings and this is a great example of regeneration of a disused site into high quality housing. As per planning policy these properties benefit from electric car charging ports representing a step into a greener future.”
GCH has now delivered 347 new affordable homes around the City since 2015 and have plans to complete a further 103 homes by March 2022 to help with the high demand for affordable housing within the County.
These homes have been let and all applications for GCH’s new properties are made via www.homeseekerplus.co.uk
